Operation CHARM: Car repair manuals for everyone.
Manuals through 2025 now available!

Our trusted friends have launched a new website named LEMON, which has newer manuals. It also contains all the CHARM manuals.

LEMON is the spiritual successor to CHARM, I recommend you try it!

Installation

INSTALLATION

1. Prepare the rear door window cutout for installation.

NOTE: Ensure that not more than 1 mm of adhesive bead remains. Pull off loose adhesive material (remaining pieces which are not completely cut off). Repair paint damage not covered by glue with primer.

2. Prepare the window (1) for installation.
3. Glue in spacer blocks (2) at top and bottom into vertical channel to prevent the rear window (1) from tilting. The spacer blocks should have a height of 6 mm (0.24 in) to ensure that the rear window is seated correctly.
4. Glue in rear window (1).

NOTE: Do not press on rear window (1) too firmly. Open sliding door so that rear window (1) is not pressed toward outside by air pressure when the rear door is closed.

5. Remove the spacers after curing time.
6. Connect the rear window heater electrical connector.
7. Install the rear window wiper.
8. Install the cover (3) on right rear end door.
