Removal

REMOVAL




1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Insert the tip of a trim stick or a similar wide flat-bladed tool into the notch (2) on one edge of the motion detector lens (1) and carefully pry the unit downward until it unsnaps from the mounting bracket or the headliner, as the vehicle is equipped.
3. Pull the motion detector down from its mounting location far enough to access and disconnect the vehicle wire harness from the connector receptacle on the top of the detector housing.
4. Remove the motion detector from the vehicle.
