DESCRIPTIONThe camshaft position (CMP) sensor (3) is mounted on the right cylinder head cover. The
camshaft position sensor is a hall effect sensor, and supplies a signal to the Electronic Control Module (ECM). The ECM uses the signals sent by the CMP and the crankshaft (CKP) sensor to determine injection timing.
