Installation

INSTALLATION




1. Raise axle into position.
2. Install plates and U-bolts (1) and with new nuts. Tighten nuts to 170 Nm (125 ft. lbs.).
3. Install shock absorbers (2) to rear axle and tighten bolts to:
- M12 x 1.5 Bolt - 70 Nm (52 ft. lbs.)
- M14 x 1.5 Bolt - 110 Nm (81 ft. lbs.)
4. Install stabilizer bar to axle and tighten bolts to:
- SRW Axle - 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.)
- DRW Axle - 70 Nm (52 ft. lbs.)

NOTE: The right-hand ABS sensor cable is labeled at the factory with a white tag.

5. Install all brake components.




6. Install vent hose (1) to axle (2).
7. Install the wheels and tires.
8. Fill axle with appropriate lubricant.
9. Remove lifting device from under the axle.
10. Remove support and lower vehicle.
