Fuel Filter: Service and Repair

In Line Fuel Filter - 2.5L Engine:

In Line Fuel Filter - 2.8L Engine:

NOTE: Perform Fuel Pressure Release procedure (2.5L engine only).

REMOVAL
1. Remove the fuel filter cap to relieve tank pressure.
2. Remove upper fuel line fitting.
3. Remove lower fuel line fitting.
4. Loosen bolt so the fuel filter can be removed from the bracket.

INSTALLATION
1. Install the filter into the bracket.
2. Install fuel line fitting.
3. Replace fuel filter cap.
