Air Injection Hose/Tube: Testing and Inspection

Inspection:

1. Inspect hoses and/or pipes for deterioration.
2. Inspect all hoses or pipe connections, and clamp torque.
3. Inspect hose and pipe routing. Interference may cause wear.
4. When a leak on the pressure side is suspected, the area will need to be inspected as follows:

^ Take a soapy water solution and inspect the area connections.
^ Bubbles will form at any bad connections when the pump is operating.
