CATALYTIC CONVERTERS:

On vehicles equipped with catalytic converters the following conditions must be observed:

1. Use only "UNLEADED FUEL."
2. Avoid running out of fuel.
3. In case of poor engine operation (misfire):
^ avoid driving the vehicle
^ correct the problem immediately.
4. Avoid pulling or push starting the vehicle.

MAINTENANCE:

Service vehicle on regular scheduled maintenance intervals to ensure proper engine performance and lower emission levels.


ODORS/EMISSIONS

Always be conscience of fuel odors and excessive tailpipe emissions (black smoke), these are problem indicators.
