Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch (For Computer): Service and Repair

CAUTION:Care must be taken, when handling coolant sensor. Damage to coolant sensor will affect proper operation of the fuel control system.

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Drain cooling system below level of sensor.
3. Electrical connector releasing locking tab.
4. Coolant sensor from engine.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Coolant sensor in engine.
2. Electrical connector.
3. Refill coolant system.
4. Negative battery cable.
