Auxiliary Heating System

Auxiliary Hot Water By-Pass Valve:

Remove or Disconnect

1. Drain the coolant.
2. Raise the vehicle and support it with safety stands.
3. The front hose connections to the by-pass valve.
4. The rear hose connections to the by-pass valve.
5. The nut from the by-pass valve.
6. The by-pass valve from the vehicle.

Install or Connect

1. The by-pass valve to the vehicle.
2. The nut from the by-pass valve.

Tighten
^ The retaining nut to the water by-pass valve to 5 N.m (44 lb. in).

3. The rear hose connections to the by-pass valve.
4. The front hose connections to the by-pass valve.
5. Lower the vehicle.
6. Refill the coolant.
