Fuel Gauge Module: Service and Repair

Removal Procedure

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the lower right I/P sound insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators.

3. Lower the Fuel Level Sender Gauge Module by peeling away the velcro strip from the lower side of the Instrument Panel Storage Compartment.

4. Remove the module end cover.

5. Remove the circuit board inside the module housing being careful not to bend or twist the circuit board.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the circuit board inside the module housing being careful not to bend or twist the circuit board.

2. Install the module end cover.

3. Install the Fuel Level Sender Gauge Module by pressing the module to the lower side of the Instrument Panel Storage Compartment where the velcro strip is applied.

4. Install the lower right I/P sound insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators.

5. Connect the negative battery cable.
