Cylinder Block Assembly: Service and Repair

REMOVAL





1. Remove the engine block coolant plugs.





2. Remove the front engine block oil gallery plugs.





3. Remove the rear and side engine block oil gallery plugs.

INSTALLATION
1. Coat the threads of the oil gallery plugs with pipe sealant.
2. Install the rear and side engine block oil gallery plugs.
3. Install the front engine block oil gallery plugs.
- Tighten the oil gallery plugs to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).
4. Install the engine block coolant plugs.
- Tighten the engine block coolant plugs to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).
