Glow Plug Replacement

REMOVAL
^ Tools Required
- J 41515-A Glow Plug Socket
- J 39083 Glow Plug Connector Tool
- Or Equivalents





1. Use the glow plug connection tool in order to remove the jumper wires for cylinders number 4 and number 6.
a. Hook the end of glow plug connection tool to the terminal connector body.
b. Pull the glow plug connection tool in order to remove the jumper wire.
2. Remove the following components:
^ The nuts
^ The heat shields





3. Use the glow plug socket in order to remove the glow plugs.

INSTALLATION
1. Install the glow plugs using the glow plug socket.
^ Tighten the glow plugs to 22 Nm (16 ft. lbs.).
2. Install the heat shields on cylinders number 4 and 6.
3. Using glow plug connector tool, install the jumper wires to cylinders 4 and 6.
