Primary A/C System

Evaporator And Blower Module (Acoustic Cover Removed):






Remove or Disconnect

1. Negative battery cable.
2. Discharge and recover refrigerant from the system.
3. Engine coolant.
4. Coolant recovery reservoir.
5. Electrical connectors.
6. Heater core inlet and outlet hoses.
7. Compressor and condenser hose from the accumulator.
8. Evaporator from the accumulator.
9. Relay bracket.
10. Evaporator tube from the evaporator.
11. Evaporator and blower module bolts and nuts.
12. Evaporator, blower module and acoustic cover.
^ Separate case halves.
13. Evaporator core.

Install or Connect

Tighten
^ Bolts to 6 N.m (53 lb in).
^ Nuts to 7.5 N.m (66 lb in).

4. Evaporator tube to the evaporator.
5. Heater core inlet and outlet hoses.
6. Evaporator to the accumulator.

Tighten
^ Evaporator to 48 N.m (35 lb ft).

7. Compressor and condenser hose to the accumulator.
8. Relay bracket.
9. Electrical connectors.
10. Coolant recovery reservoir.
11. Engine coolant.
12. Negative battery cable.
13. Refrigerant to the system.
^ Check the system for leaks.
1. Evaporator core.
2. Evaporator, blower module and acoustic cover.
3. Evaporator and blower module bolts and nuts.
