Expansion Valve: Service and Repair

Remove or Disconnect

1. Negative battery cable.
2. Recover refrigerant.
3. Evaporator core.
4. TXV from evaporator core.
- Remove clip retaining the capillary tube to the suction pipe.
- Remove the TXV from the evaporator inlet pipe.

Install or Connect

1. TXV to the evaporator core.
- Install TXV to the evaporator core inlet pipe.
- Install the capillary tube to the suction line.
- Install the capillary tube retaining clip.
2. Evaporator core.
3. Charge system.
4. Negative battery cable.
