The COAST (Trim) Function

Use the COAST/TRIM function in order to raise or lower the cruise control speed. Use the COAST (Trim) function in the following manner to increase the vehicle speed:
1. Accelerate the vehicle to a higher speed.
2. Fully depress the SET/COAST button. The VCM will release the previously set speed.
3. Release the SET/COAST button. The cruise control is now set at the higher speed.

Use the COAST (Trim) function as follows in order to decrease the vehicle speed:
1. Fully depress the SET/COAST button to disengage the cruise control system.
2. Allow the vehicle to slow to the desired speed.
3. Release the SET/COAST button. The cruise control is now reset at the lower speed.
