The TAP UP Function

Use the TAP UP function in order to incrementally increase the cruise speed. For TAP UP to operate, the cruise control must be engaged. In order to increase the vehicle speed by increments of 1.6 km/h (1 mph) proceed as follows:
1. Quickly press the slide switch toward the RESUME/ACCEL position, then release the switch. Vehicle speed will increase by 1.6 km/h.
2. Continue to quickly depress and release the RESUME/ACCEL switch until the vehicle is travelling at the desired speed.

Do not hold the switch in the RESUME/ACCEL position, or the system will revert to the ACCEL mode.

The cruise control system cannot TAP UP beyond 201 km/h (125mph).
