Engine Cover Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the screws from the range selector housing. Move the range selector housing rearward.
2. Remove the engine access cover screws (1).
3. Remove the engine access cover nuts (2).
4. Remove the engine access cover (3).




5. Remove the engine access cover seal (2).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the engine access cover seal (2) by pressing the seal to the opening starting at the front centerline (1).





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the engine access cover (3).

* Tighten the 2 engine access cover screws (1) to 8 Nm (71 lb in).
* Tighten the 2 engine access cover nuts (2) to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

3. Move the range selector housing forward. Install the screws from the range selector housing.
