Inter-Axle Differential Lock Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Apply the parking brake.
2. Block the wheels.
3. Drain all of the air reservoirs. Refer to Draining Reservoirs .
4. Disconnect the inter-axle differential lock switch wiring harness connector.
5. Remove the inter-axle differential lock switch.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the inter-axle differential lock switch.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Connect the inter-axle differential lock switch wiring harness connector.

Tighten the inter-axle differential lock switch to 28 Nm (21 lb ft).

3. Start the engine. Charge the system to the air compressor governor cutout point.
4. Stop the engine.
5. Inspect for air leaks using a soap solution.
6. Remove the wheel blocks.
