Backup Lamp Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Disconnect the backup lamp switch electrical connector.





3. Remove the backup lamp switch.

Installation Procedure





1. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Important: The backup lamp switch has pre-applied thread sealant on the threads.

Install the backup lamp switch.
^ Tighten the backup lamp switch to 37 Nm (27 ft. lbs.).
2. Connect the backup lamp switch electrical connector.
3. Lower the vehicle.
