BRAKE PEDAL POSITION SENSOR REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the BEC cover.
2. Remove the brake pedal position sensor bolts.
3. Remove the brake pedal position sensor from the vehicle.
4. Disconnect the brake pedal position sensor electrical connector.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Connect the brake pedal position sensor electrical connector.
2. Install the brake pedal position sensor to the vehicle.
3. Install the brake pedal position sensor bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

4. Install the BEC cover.
