Inlet Cover

Removal

1. Disconnect the EGR valve connector.
2. Remove the EGR valve and the gaskets.
3. Disconnect the harness connector of intake air flow (IAF) valve.
4. Remove the IAF valve and the gasket.
5. Remove the fuel rail.
6. Remove the oil level gauge guide tube.
7. Remove the outer inlet cover and the gasket.
8. Disconnect the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor 2 connector.
9. Remove the inlet cover.
- Be careful not to forget to remove the bolt indicated with an arrow in the illustration.
- Peel the liquid gasket off carefully.
