Removal

EGR Valve and EGR Cooler


Components







Removal
1. Remove the A/C compressor.
- Remove the drive belt.
- Disconnect the harness connector of the A/C compressor.
- Remove the A/C compressor and fix it with wire etc. to an appropriate place along with hoses.







2. Disconnect the EGR valve harness connector.
3. Drain engine cooling water.
4. Disconnect the water hoses.
5. Remove the EGR cooler duct (EXH).
- Disconnect the EGR cooler IN temperature sensor connector (2).
- Remove the EGR cooler heat protector (3)
- Remove the EGR cooler duct (1).







6. Remove the EGR cooler 1st with the EGR cooler duct (1st-2nd).
7. Remove the EGR cooler 2nd
8. Remove the EGR valve.

NOTE: After removing the EGR valve and EGR cooler duct, seal so that foreign matter does not enter.
