Information On Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) U1305 (No Repair Should Be Attempted)

2008 Chevrolet Colorado
2008 GMC Canyon
2008 HUMMER H3

The purpose of this bulletin is to inform dealership personnel that they may find Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) U1305 (Class 2 Data Link High or Low) stored in the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) trouble code list. The DTC may be a current code or stored as a history code and it should be ignored. No diagnosis or repairs should be performed to fix this false DTC. The DTC does not effect the operation of the vehicle or IPC in any way.
