Outside Rearview Mirror Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the front door upper trim. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement).
2. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the outside review mirror, if equipped with DE6.
3. Remove the bolts retaining the outside review mirror to the door.




4. Remove the outside rearview mirror from the door.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the outside rearview mirror to the door, ensuring the retaining tab is fully engaged.





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the bolts retaining the outside review mirror to the door.

Tighten the outside rearview mirror to 9 Nm (80 lb in).

3. Connect the electrical connector (1) to the outside rearview mirror, if equipped with DE6.
4. Install the front door upper trim. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement).
