Recirculation Door Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the HVAC module assembly. Refer to Air Conditioning and Heater Module Assembly Removal and Installation (Service and Repair).




2. Remove all retaining screws from the HVAC module case halves (1, 4).
3. Separate the HVAC module case.




4. Remove the screws retaining the recirculation actuator (2) from the HVAC module assembly.
5. Remove the electrical connector (3) from the recirculation actuator (2).
6. Remove recirculation actuator.




7. Remove the recirculation door (2) from the recirculation assembly (1).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the recirculation door (2) to the recirculation assembly (1).




2. Install the recirculation actuator (2) to the case (1).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

3. Install the screws to the recirculation actuator. Tighten the screws to 1.9 Nm (18 lb in).
4. Connect the electrical connector (3).




5. Assemble the HVAC module case halves (1, 4).
6. Install the screws to assemble the HVAC module case halves. Tighten the screws to 1.9 Nm (18 lb in).
7. Install the HVAC module assembly. Refer to Air Conditioning and Heater Module Assembly Removal and Installation (Service and Repair).
