J 38185 - Hose Clamp Pliers

Removal Procedure

1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill)Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vac N Fill) Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vac N Fill).
2. Remove the generator. Refer to Generator Replacement (LLV/LLR) Service and RepairGenerator Replacement (LH8) Generator Replacement (LH8).




3. Reposition the heater inlet front hose clamp (8) using the J 38185 - pliers and remove the heater inlet front hose from engine.
4. Reposition the heater inlet front hose clamp (6) using the J 38185 - pliers and remove the heater inlet front hose from the heater inlet pipe.
5. Remove the heater inlet front hose (7).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the heater inlet front hose (7).
2. Reposition the heater inlet front hose clamp (6) using the J 38185 - pliers and install the heater inlet front hose to the heater inlet pipe.
3. Reposition the heater inlet front hose clamp (8) using the J 38185 - pliers and install the heater inlet front hose to engine.
4. Install the generator. Refer to Generator Replacement (LLV/LLR) Service and RepairGenerator Replacement (LH8) Generator Replacement (LH8).
5. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill)Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vac N Fill) Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vac N Fill).
