Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement (LLV, LLR)

Tools Required

J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers

Removal Procedure

1. Drain the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill)Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vac N Fill) Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vac N Fill).
2. Remove left front wheelhouse liner.




3. Using J 38185 reposition the outlet radiator hose clamp away from the thermostat housing (1).
4. Remove the outlet radiator hose from the thermostat.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the outlet radiator hose (1) to the radiator.
2. Using J 38185 reposition the outlet radiator hose clamp to the radiator.




3. Install the outlet radiator hose to the thermostat (1).
4. Using J 38185 reposition the outlet radiator hose clamp to the thermostat housing.
5. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill)Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vac N Fill) Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vac N Fill).
6. Install left front wheelhouse liner.
7. Lower the vehicle.
