Coolant Heater Replacement (LEA)

Removal Procedure

1. If equipped with AWD, remove the exhaust manifold. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Replacement (LEA) Service and Repair.




2. Disconnect the coolant heater cord (1).




3. Remove the coolant heater bolt.

4. Remove the coolant heater.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the coolant heater.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

2. Install the coolant heater bolt and tighten to 50 Nm (37 lb ft).




3. Connect the coolant heater cord (1).

4. If equipped with AWD, install the exhaust manifold. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Replacement (LEA) Service and Repair.
