Wiper Relay: Testing and Inspection

Refer to DIAGNOSTIC CHARTS, for complete system diagnosis.

Fig. 32 Intermittent Wiper Relay Test Connections:

1. Disconnect wiper/washer switch connector.
2. Using 12 volt battery, connect positive terminal to black terminal on connector, and negative terminal to yellow/blue terminal on connector Fig. 32.
3. Turn intermittent switch to OFF position, If an operating sound is heard from relay, it is operating properly. If no sound is heard, replace relay.
