Frequency Solenoid Valve B




1. Disconnect hose No. 30 from frequency solenoid valve B, then plug inlet port of valve.
2. Disconnect hose No. 31 from frequency solenoid valve B, then connect suitable hand vacuum pump to valve.
3. Apply vacuum to valve. Valve should not hold vacuum.
4. If vacuum is not present, proceed to step 5. If vacuum is present, replace frequency solenoid valve B and repeat test.
5. Apply battery voltage to frequency solenoid valve and draw vacuum. Vacuum should remain steady.
6. If vacuum remains steady, frequency solenoid valve is satisfactory. If vacuum is not present, replace frequency solenoid valve and repeat test.
