Prior to troubleshooting the speed control system, check No. 2 (10A) and No. 4 (7.5A) fuses in the fuse box and the No. 4 (20A) fuse in the relay box, on 1989 models and fuses No. 1 (10A) and No. 4 (7.5A) fuses in the fuse box and the No. 25 (20A) fuse in the relay box, on 1990-92 models. If fuses are operating, ensure horn sounds and tachometer functions properly. Refer to Figs. 3 and 4 for troubleshooting sequence.
