Crankshaft Fluctuation Sensor: Service and Repair



CKF Sensor (Crankshaft speed fluctuation sensor)

Replacement:

1. Remove the guard bar and splash shield.





2. Loosen the lock bolt and mounting bolt, then remove the P/S pump belt.





3. Loosen the adjusting bolt and idler pulley bracket bolt, then remove the A/C compressor belt.




4. Loosen the locknut and mounting nut, then remove the alternator belt

5. Remove the cylinder head cover.

6. Remove the crankshaft pulley.

7. Remove the middle cover and the lower cover.




8. Disconnect the engine speed (RPM) fluctuation sensor connector, then remove the RPM fluctuation sensor.

9. Install the RPM fluctuation sensor in reverse order of removal.
