Windshield Washer Switch: Testing and Inspection

Wiper/Washer Switch Test/Replacement

1. Remove the driver's dashboard lower cover.
2. Remove the steering column covers.

3. Disconnect the connectors (A) from the wipers/washers switch (B), then remove the two screws and the switch.

Windshield:

4. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table. If the switch fails any continuity check, replace the switch.
