Evaporative Emissions System: Service and Repair

Oil/Air Separator Installation
1. Clean and dry the oil/air separator mating surfaces, bolts and bolt holes.

2. Apply a 1.5 mm wide bead of the liquid gasket, P/N 08718-0009, along the broken line (A).

NOTE: Do not install the parts if 5 minutes or more have elapsed since applying liquid gasket. Instead, reapply liquid gasket after removing old residue.

3. Install the oil/air separator.
