- For some models: SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations, and the precautions and procedures before performing repairs or service.
- The operation of the driver's seat position sensor must be checked after any of these actions:
- Driver's seat position sensor replacement
- Cover plate (front side of driver's seat slide rail) replacement

NOTE:
- Route the seat wire harness correctly.
- Make sure the bushing and pivot washer are installed correctly.
- Apply multipurpose grease to the moving portion of the seat track.
- To prevent wrinkles in the seat-back cover, stretch the material evenly over the pad.
