License Plate Frame: Service and Repair
Rear License Trim ReplacementNOTE: Put on gloves to protect your hands.
1. Remove the tailgate trim panel.
2. From inside the tailgate, remove the nuts securing the rear license trim (A), and disconnect the backup light connectors (B).
3. From inside the tailgate, release the lower clips (A). Gently close the tailgate, and pull the rear license trim (B) out to detach the upper clip (C), then remove the trim. Take care not to scratch the tailgate.
4. Install the trim in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- Replace any damaged clips.
- Make sure the back-up light connectors are plugged in properly.
