Power Trunk / Liftgate Lock Switch: Testing and Inspection

Trunk Key Cylinder Switch Test

1. Open the trunk lid.

2. Disconnect the 3P connector (A) from the trunk key cylinder switch (B).





3. Check for continuity between the terminals.

- There should be no continuity between terminals No. 2 and No. 3 when the trunk key cylinder switch is in the neutral position.
- There should be continuity between terminals No. 2 and No. 3 when the trunk key cylinder switch is in the UNLOCK position.

4. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the trunk key cylinder switch.
