Replacement

1. Locate the cruise control module under the dashboard.

2. Remove the attachment hardware.





3. Detach the module from the cruise control master harness. Fill out the campaign tag, attach it to the module and hold the module in your parts department until you receive the Request for Return to the Warranty Technical Center.

4. Connect the new module to the cruise control master harness.

5. Using the original hardware, mount the replacement module in the same position as the old module.





6. Finally, center punch the 16th digit of the VIN on the VIN plate under the hood (above the next-to-the-last digit in the VIN). The plate is on the cowl, driver's side.
