Throttle Opener Control

When specific accessories are activated (i.e., blower motor), engine idle speed is increased to compensate for the additional engine load by changing the throttle valve opening. In order to decrease hydrocarbon emissions during deceleration and improve engine braking performance, the ECU will de-energize the solenoid valve which supplies manifold vacuum to the throttle opener at or above preset engine speeds, suspending throttle opener operation.
