Computers and Control Systems: Service Precautions

Whenever servicing the feedback carburetor system, observe the following precautions:
1. Before disconnecting battery terminals, ensure that ignition switch is Off, since damage to ECU may result.
2. Disconnect battery cables whenever charging battery. Observe correct polarity when reconnecting cables.
3. Ensure all harness connectors are securely connected before attempting to diagnose system malfunctions.
