Ignition Coil: Service and Repair
Removing Ignition Coils:
REMOVAL -
Disconnect the
ignition coil connector.

Remove the
ignition coil fasteners and remove the coil assembly.
Ignition Coil:
INSTALLATION -
Apply a small amount of di-electric compound to the inside of the
ignition coil boots.

Reinstall the
ignition coil and tighten the fasteners to the specified torque.
Torque value: 3.7 - 5.0 Nm (2.7 - 3.7 ft.lbs.)
