Optional Method Number 1
Removing #1 Ignition Coil:
1.
Remove #1 ignition coil.
Spark Plug Wire Modification:

Retro-fit a suitable spark plug wire as shown.
Timing Light Connections:
3.
Connect the #1 ignition coil and
spark plug with the retro-fitted wire. Connect a timing light to the wire.
4.
Start the engine and warm it up until the water temperature indicator points to the middle of the gauge.
