BCM

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

NOTE: If possible, before removing BCM, retrieve current BCM configuration to use for reference when configuring brand-new BCM after installation. Refer to BCS-19, "Configuration". Testing and Inspection

Removal
1. Disconnect battery negative terminal.
2. Remove instrument lower panel LH. Refer to "INSTRUMENT PANEL ASSEMBLY".
3. Remove knee protector. Refer to "INSTRUMENT PANEL ASSEMBLY".
4. Disconnect BCM electrical connectors.




5. Remove BCM screws and remove BCM.

Installation
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE:
- When replacing BCM, it must be configured. Refer to BCS-19, "Configuration". Testing and Inspection
- When replacing BCM, perform initialization of NATS system and registration of all NATS ignition key IDs. Refer to BL-127, "IVIS (INFINITI VEHICLE IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM-NATS)". Vehicle Immobilizer System
- When replacing BCM, perform ID registration procedure of low tire pressure warning system. Refer to WT-13, "ID Registration Procedure". Testing and Inspection
