INTRODUCTION

Infiniti has determined that on some 2007 model year QX56 vehicles because of a wiring issue the condenser cooling fan in the vehicle may operate in reverse pulling air rather than pushing. Owners may experience poor A/C performance and possibly higher than normal coolant temperatures.

To correct this condition Infiniti is conducting a Voluntary Service Campaign to repair the cooling fan wiring and if necessary replace the cooling fan on affected vehicles free of charge for parts or labor.

IDENTIFICATION NUMBER

Infiniti has assigned identification number P7216 to this campaign. This number must appear on all communications and documentation of any nature dealing with this Campaign.

DEALER RESPONSIBILITY

Infiniti recommends that dealers correct each vehicle falling within the range of this campaign that enters the service department. This includes vehicles purchased from private parties or presented by transient (tourist) owners and vehicles in a dealer's inventory.
