Brake Pad: Service and Repair

1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove wheel.
2. Remove lower side slide pin.
3. Remove caliper by lifting and pulling it towards inside of vehicle.
4. Position caliper to the side being careful not to flexible hose is not stretched.
5. Install new pads, shims, retainers and PAD return spring.
6. Press rotor on hub and at same time, install caliper. Take care not to damage shims during installation procedure.
7. Install lower side slide pin. Tighten to specification.
