EGR Control Solenoid: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Air cleaner assembly.
3. Exhaust gas recirculation electronic vacuum regulator solenoid from bracket (2 bolts).
4. Carefully remove electrical connector at Exhaust gas recirculation electronic vacuum regulator solenoid.
5. Vacuum hose.

INSTALLATION
1. Exhaust gas recirculation electronic vacuum regulator solenoid to electrical connector.
2. Exhaust gas recirculation electronic vacuum regulator solenoid to bracket.

Tighten
- Two bolts to 24 N m (17 lb.ft.).

3. Vacuum hose.
4. Air cleaner assembly.
5. Negative battery cable.
