VEHICLE CHANGES
KEY POINTS SPECIFICATION CHANGES FOR 1987 MODEL YEAR
The following changes in specification have been incorporated in 1987 model year vehicles:

XJ6 and VDP

- Exterior finish, clear over base (C.O.B.) paint.

- 80 Watt Alpine stereo radio - cassette with security system.

- Electrically heated Lambda sensor (50,000 miles with warning light module deleted from facia).

- VDP only - center console top roll color keyed to interior.

- Revised emission labels.

XJ-S

- Exterior finish, clear over base (C.O.B.) paint.

- New exterior coach lines.

- Delanair Mark III air conditioning system (with control changes - 80 Watt Alpine stereo radio - cassette with security system.

- Electrically heated Lambda sensor (50,000 miles with warning light module deleted from facia).

- Rear inertia reel seat belts.

- Front seat belt harness with slide bar on outboard sills.

XJ-SC

- All of the above XJ-S changes except rear seat belts.

- Removable hard top fitted (soft top supplied loose in trunk).

NOTE

The electrically heated oxygen sensor enables catalyst service changes to be increased to 50,000 miles and therefore the Lambda sensor warning light is no longer required.
