Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) Transceiver

Removal

Vehicles without driver lower air bag







1. Remove the instrument panel lower trim panel.

Vehicles with driver lower air bag
1. Remove the driver lower airbag module.

All vehicles







1. Remove the steering column lower shroud.







2. Disconnect the passive anti-theft system (PATS) transceiver electrical connector.







3. Remove the PATS transceiver module.

Installation
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
