Cylinder Head Assembly: Specifications

Camshaft bearing caps retaining bolts 10 Nm (7 ft. lbs.)





LH Exhaust Manifold retaining nuts 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)





RH Exhaust Manifold retaining nuts 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)





Lower intake manifold Tighten to 10 Nm





Upper intake manifold Tighten to 10 Nm

Cylinder Head





NOTE: Install new cylinder head bolts and washers

NOTE: Install the bolls in the indicated sequence.

Install LH cylinder head.
Tighten to 30 Nm
Tighten 90°.
Loosen 360°.
Tighten to 30 Nm
Tighten 90°.
Tighten 90°.

Install the RH cylinder head.
Tighten to 30 Nm.
Tighten 90°.
Loosen 360°.
Tighten to 30 Nm.
Tighten 90°.
Tighten 90°.
