- Circuit.
- Generator.
- ECM.
Action(s) to take:
- GO to Pinpoint Test B.

DTC P1244 Generator overcharging

Possible Source(s):
- Generator.
- Circuit.
- Battery.
Action(s) to take:
- GO to Pinpoint Test C.

DTC P1629 Generator load monitoring signal failure

Possible Source(s):
- Circuit.
- Generator.
- ECM.
Action(s) to take:
- GO to Pinpoint Test D.

DTC P1632 Charging system failure

Possible Source(s):
- Fuse 82 (20A).
- Circuit.
- Generator.
- Battery.
- ECM.
Action(s) to take:
- GO to Pinpoint Test A.

The charging system warning indicator is on, intermittent or flickers with the engine running

Generator not charging, battery keeps going flat

- CHECK drive belt tension.

Generator noisy
